Lisa Sade Adeeko - is a member of Starz of Houston FSC. She begun skating, as an adult, two years ago. She is a regular member of USFSA, and is working on her Pre-Bronze moves. She has competed in several Basic Skills competitions: in  2006 - Houston Fall Invitational - (1st) - Basic 4  Elements, (1st) -  Basic 4 Program. 2007 - Skate Houston - (1st) - Basic 5 Elements, (1st) - Basic 5 Program, Willowbrook Summer Fest - (1st) - Basic 6 Elements, Rallynn Healy Memorial Competition - (1st) - Basic 6 Elements, (1st) - Basic 6  Program. 2008 - Skate Houston, Silver Medal - Pre - Bronze Moves in the Field, Bronze Medal - Pre - Bronze Spins.

She is a graduate of Harvard and is currently working as a technical writer in the Geosciences Industry. One factor in taking her current position was because it was 'literally next door to a rink" and she "could practice at lunchtime".

She enjoys attending ice shows - even out of state, if she can combine a show with a visit to friends or family. Whenever she travels she takes her skates and looks for a rink. Her current goals are to pass the Pre-Bronze Moves test this summer and the Pre-Bronze Freeskate before the 2009 Adult Nationals.

Her favorite skater of all time is Alexei Yagudin and since skating she has lost 50 pounds. She also plays handbells and is a classically trained soprano. Her favorite people are her eight fabulous nieces and nephews - " the ones who live locally always come to my competitions and cheer for me"!
